With this glorious weather comes a bit of "cabin fever" if you will. I had it (being inside all day) and I know that the little 6th graders had it. SO... we went outside to do our presentations. The sunshine and breeze put us all in a better mood! It was just fantastic outside. We sat around in the outdoor classroom (thank you Jennifer McAuley) and told the stories about our creatures (our Mexican Folk Art Alebrijes!). Some students discussed the process while others told elaborate stories. Some read their stories while others just made it up as they went. Either way, we had a great time laughing and sharing.
Thank you my dear 6th graders. You make this art teacher happy!
