Dreaming of the Water....

                                      

The most perfectly fabulous 6th grade students have been learning how to appropriately use watercolor. We worked for a full hour on watercolor techniques, practicing various methods such as wet on wet, wet on dry, dry brush, salt, masking, etc. They also have been studying the Canadian artist, Emily Carr, They drew trees using pencils and sharpies and then are going to use their new skills to complete the trees with watercolor.
