No, we didn't get Athens very own Jamie Calkin to actually come in, but since he was a teacher in his past life and is now an artist, AND he's local, we thought that it would be great to study about him. He started really drawing in 2000... and has been going up since then! We looked at his website and how free he is with his lines, not so rigid and structured like some realistic artists. The student had already learned how to draw in 1 and 2 pt. perspective, so they were old pros! I can't wait to show you the final results. They each have their own style.
