Final Peace Poster Winners

The following were the top nominated winners to be entered into the Lion's Club Peace Poster Contest. This contest was to support global peace and understanding. The winner will be announced at the end of this week! As usual, the computer turned some of them automatically and I couldn't get them to turn around the correct way...

                                 

Peace Posters

The Lion's Club is great about supporting the JMS art program. They are a service organization who provides services to the community. They have a Peace Poster Contest each year and honor the winner with a gift card and also a nice dinner at the clubhouse here in Jefferson. Below are the finalists. The winner will be chosen next month.

Peace Poster Finalists

The teachers at JMS will be voting for the top 3 to be sent to the Jefferson Lion's Club! This is an international contest, so the finalists couldn't have any writing, couldn't have the American flag more predominant than the others, and couldn't only have one religion represented. They had to represent people of all walks of life!

We are blessed with precious students. They really are good kids. For the most part, they really do try their hardest. I couldn't ask for more. Below is my friend Josh. He makes everyone laugh and smile in class. He is constantly laughing and making other people laugh!! Thank you Josh.
