Burkina Faso Pottery

The 7th graders watched a video and ppt about the pottery that comes from the traditional ways of Burkina Faso and other Western African countries. We discussed how the pottery can be used, from very functional uses to trading and selling the pottery to other Africans or even tourists. The students rolled out the bottom piece of clay, making a sturdy base, and then have been building up coils to create their own functional pottery. They are in progress.
