Kushy Art
The seventh graders have been studying Vladimir Kush, a Russian surrealist painter and sculptor. He is fascinating, along the lines of Dali. The students had to create 2-3 surrealistic collages and then grid them. They were then enlarged in colored pencil. The students really had to work on their skills with the gridding and redrawing. They worked on value and shading/blending with the colored pencils.
